This year we are excited to present THE KID FLICK
The Kid Flick is a one day tournament for Junior Divisions only.

Competitors will be playing 2 rounds of 13 holes on a shortened and modified course at Timber Park.

Schedule:

8:00am- 9:00am- Check In 
9:00am- Players Meeting 
9:30am- Round 1 Start 
12:00pm- Lunch, Field Games, Putting Contest 
1:00pm- Player's Meeting 
1:30pm- Round 2 Start

 

Field Games and Putting continued after the round until we are ready for awards.

Juniors 10 and under will be playing from short tee pads and holes will be around 150ft.

Juniors 11-18 will be playing from original tee pads on most holes.

Tournament is trophy only. Registration will go towards players packs, trophies, snacks, prizes and the costs associated with running the tournament (Course rental, fees, supplies)

Guidelines for Junior Divisions:

Junior I MJ1 or FJ1 <= 18 during full calendar year 
Junior II MJ2 or FJ2 <=15 during full calendar year 
Junior III MJ3 or FJ3 <= 12 during full calendar year 
Junior IV MJ4 or FJ4 <= 10 during full calendar year 
Junior V MJ5 or FJ5 <= 8 during full calendar year 
Junior VI MJ6 or FJ6 <= 6 during full calendar year

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities for Junior Players during Tournaments:

Parents/guardians must be responsible for their children during PDGA sanctioned events. Neither the PDGA staff nor the Event staff are responsible for the 
children of tournament players, spectators, etc. during events. Parents/guardians may not leave unaccompanied children at or near the scoring area, clubhouse, 
or other tournament venue.

· Players in the MJ3, FJ3, MJ4, FJ4, MJ5, FJ5, MJ6, and FJ6 divisions MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian during tournament rounds. 
Additionally, any player younger than 13 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian regardless of the division they play. 
· A single parent or guardian may be responsible for multiple junior players in the same group if agreed upon by all of the parents/guardians prior to the 
start of the round and is communicated to the Tournament Director. Players in the MJ1, FJ1, MJ2, and FJ2 divisions may be accompanied by a parent or 
guardian during tournament rounds. 
· During PDGA sanctioned tournament rounds, parents/guardians accompanying junior division players: 
o MAY assume the roles of a caddie; assist junior players with disc selection, throw selection, rule interpretations, or score keeping. 
o MAY NOT make or second rulings such as foot faults, courtesy violations, etc. 
o MUST encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all junior players in the group. 
o MUST place the emotional and physical well-being of all junior players in the group above the personal desire to win. 
o MUST refrain from the use of abusive or profane language. 
o MUST refrain from using drugs, alcohol, or tobacco. 
Failure to adhere to the parent/guardian responsibilities may result in the disqualification of the junior player or removal of the parent/guardian, and their 
accompanying junior player, from the event site by the tournament director.
